Our keepers host regular animal encounters giving you the opportunity to learn about, and touch, some of our more unusual residents.

Discover just how gentle and soft our tarantula is, feel how warm the snakes are or perhaps consider the weight of a hissing cockroach as it tickles your hand.

The keepers are happy to answer all your questions so don't be shy.

If you fancy a cuddle, our rabbits and guinea pigs are always willing to oblige, and don't forget to give the goats a pat, or scratch, on the head as you pass by.
